Anja was born and raised in Switzerland. After studying fine arts at the Ecole Cantonale des Beaux Arts du Valais in Switzerland Anja decided to continue her studies abroad. She came to Canada where she continued her fine arts studies at the University of Manitoba and also obtained a diploma in photography at the Red River College. Anja has made Winnipeg her home ever since and has continued her work as an artist, selling most of her artwork within Europe. Her work includes painting, photography, illustration, printmaking and sculpture. Over the past two years, Anja has added designing her own line of purses, bags, textile art and jewelry to her portfolio. The line of textile products and jewelry are both produced using recycled products, showing that art can be green!
